With regard to the facility at the end of Church Avenue, this excerpt was taken from the Howard County Government news:  Shut down and decommissioned in the early 1980’s, the Deep Run Wastewater Treatment Plant served the area until the construction of a sewer interceptor across the Patapsco River was completed.
